Who Are You?

What I Wore:
Pearl necklaces: Forever21 - $6 each (there's two of them)
Pearl earrings: Gift
Sweater: Target - $5
Skirt: Target - $20
Tights: Target - $5
Shoes: Target - $30

This week is homecoming spirit week and we have thematic dress up days. Tuesday was "Celebrity Day," and teachers were allowed to participate as long as we kept it reasonably within our dress code. I wanted to wear something simple and easy to transition from work to class after work, so that meant I had to put together something I'd probably wear either way. All day long, students asked me "Who are you?" I don't think they were being quite existential, but they just had no clue who I chose to imitate.

I'll let you guess: Who am I?
XO,

Are you Audrey Hepburn? The black, pearls, and hairstyle remind me of "Breakfast at Tiffany's."

The amazing Audrey Hepburn, of course!

Holly Golightly?

Whitney said...

My guess is also Audrey!

Has to be Audrey Hepburn!

Audrey Hepburn's Holly Golightly - I've never missed an opportunity to dress up as her myself! True style/life icon. :)

Audrey! I love it; so very classic. :)

I just realized that absolutely everyone else guessed Audrey...now I feel much less clever.

Jackie O or Coco Chanel

Great guesses! I was actually going for Audrey Hepburn, but the black outfit with pearls can definitely translate to those fabulous women!

I can definitely see myself wearing something like this again! It was easy and simple!
I wish I would've thought of Coco--but Audrey is such an easy go-to in my book!

Yes!

I like it! I wish I would've thought of those two! I actually had a student dress as Jackie O. She definitely got cool points in my book.

haha! It is, so no need to be embarrassed! :)
It's such an easy way to be classy! I think that's why the look is so timeless; simple is always in!

So true! She was my first thought when I found out about the theme....and it was an easy translation!

Your guess is right! :)
