Tons of Breton

What I Wore:
Skirt: Target - $23
Belt: From a skirt
Shoes: Target - $30
Shirt: JCP - $16
Necklace: eBay - $20
Earrings: Target - $13
Monogrammed necklace: Amazon - $43

I've decided that my navy and white shirts are my favorite clothes in my closet. I think that I am a Chanel girl through and through, so it's no wonder that I'm drawn to Breton stripes and Breton-esque clothes. I hope that nautical stays in trend forever...because I could wear it every day!

Let's visit how I've worn Breton navy and white stripes on this blog (and some of my favorite outfits):

There was more, believe it or not...!

Do you Breton? (You could Breton even more if you win the clutch I'm giving away. Seriously it's adorable.)
XO,

You are so cute!! Love that skirt. And yes, stripes are so wonderful. I have a few striped dresses and sweaters, but only one (I think) striped shirt. Time for me to get on that!!! Just in this post I have tons of inspiration about how to wear them :)

Holy cow! The difference between your photo today and the last photo in the collage is amazing! Both in terms of your outfit and your overall look. You are looking fab today!

Ahahah I'm wearing a navy and white striped long sleeved shirt right now while reading this. Honestly didn't know what Breton was until today, sooooo thanks! :)
I LOVE this outfit though. Perfect amount of pattern to be interesting, and I love the colors!

It's probably good you're not allowing shopping right now because Gap is FILLED with those stripes. I popped in last night and had to show some self control since I feel like I've gone a little stripe crazy lately. Thanks for posting all of your outfits. I've been inspired yet again!

I knew we'd get along fabulously. ;)
I love pattern mixing at work, but I'm careful not to take it too far from being professional!

Oh gosh, thanks, Erin! That's really sweet of you to say!
I debated posting that last one because it was really simple and casual, but I thought the others were fairly more complicated and I could use a little "everyday wear" in the collage. :)

Stripes are awesome! I don't understand why people are so opposed to them! I can't wait to see how you style your stripes! :)

Oh, I was about to email you, but I will just say it here - I think I have found an alternative to the awful Target pumps!

I found a few reviews online as well as the ones on the site and they seem to be really positive and they're $10 cheaper than the Target ones AND they're having BOGO sale at the moment :)

I'm SO glad you posted the link and shared it with us! :) I actually went this weekend and snatched up a pair (I decided replacing the nude Target ones was of super importance, so I compromised and got them instead of a new dress to wear to the shower. It's going to be hard explaining that convolutedness in my end of month budget post -- haha!). I got a pair of black pointed heels for $4.50 through the BOGO, so I replaced them both!
