Five Dollah LOFT pants

What I Wore:
Shirt: Target - $20
Cardigan: LOFT - giftcarded
Pants: LOFT - $4.88
Shoes: JCP - giveaway score
Necklace: Amazon - $43
pink bow earrings: Target - $13

First, I feel like it must be said...when will this infernal rain end??? (Hopefully that explains the ponytails)

Now, everybody sing with me...Five...Five Dollah....Five dollah LOFT pants...
Corny enough for you? I wrote this post after a fourteen hour workday. Mea culpa.
I'm still not sure how I'm going to style these pants on a regular basis. Meanwhile, I have a plethora of white shirts and neutral cardigans to pair with it. I think for $4.88 was an okay investment for a weird pair of comfortable and adorable pants, but I'd still like some non-boring ideas on how to wear it. They've been in my closet for about two months, and I've worn them three times (once on the blog before, once on a day my camera battery died -- didn't I tell you I'm awful at that?).

Any ideas for these pants?

XO,

You look pretty!! What.a.score! I have been debating with these pants for long.. Here's an option: http://denimanddots.com/2013/01/11/mustard-polka-dots/

^^ I was just gonna say mustard too! I think you can try white again with your bubble turq necklace...

Let's see...other colors you could wear with them? How about navy, mint, pink (aren't the polka dots pink?), teal....or STRIPES! I love polka dots and stripes together.

I bought these pants too (total impulse buy!) & have the same problem with pairing shirts & sweaters. I've been sticking to white cable knit sweaters and blouses, but adding a bit of personality with colorful statement necklaces. From reading your other posts, it's clear you have tons of jewelry to experiment with!

Awesome deal, they are adorable! I'm thinking navy and camel would be other great colors to pair with them :)

Love the pants..they are totally worth $5.00!

What about some coral. I think it would brighten it up a bit. Great score!

Are they the right fit to be tucked into same camel colored boots? Maybe with a belted sweater? They are super cute!

I've tucked them into my boots before, but they were a little baggy around the knee. I've been thinking about getting my mom to tailor them a little so they can be tucked, but I like the relaxed fit without making them "skinnies." I agree about the belted sweater! Must try!

Good idea! I had a coralish shirt paired with it in the morning, but I switched to this one before I left. I'll try it when I'm feeling a little braver! :)

I completely agree! I think that cost per wear is a big factor into what I've bought. Even if I don't have a lot of ways to wear this, it was still worth it!

Great ideas! I will definitely have to pair them up with my camel blazer...!

ha! I'm right there with you! :) I paired it with a white sweater and pink necklace before the winter break, but I like the idea of pairing it with my cable knits to add a little more interest!

Oooh, teal! I like that idea. I just worry about being "too much" with these pants, you know? I'm so accustomed to having my pants be neutral to my outfit--it weirds me out to think of pants as a statement. If I want to get super matchy, I have a burgandy shirt with pink stripes...haha

That's a great example! I love it! Thank you for linking that to me! :)

FIVE DOLLARS? super cute! I do like the printed/polka dot pants thing, but yeah, I can't really think of many ways to wear them, and it's hard to wear them over and over again without people noticing, so $5 is a perfectly good tradeoff. Plus even if you only wear them once or twice, you've already gotten your money's worth.

Oh, and an idea for an outfit? A CHAMBRAY SHIRT. YOU NEED TO GIVE IN, WHITNEY. :D
