What I Wore:
Shorts: Old Navy - $5
Shirt: American Eagle - $10 (? circa 2006)
Bubble necklace: eBay - $15
Initials necklace: Amazon - $43
Sandals : Crocs - $20 (don't judge)
Belt: Borrowed from a pair of shorts
First of all, yes. I'm wearing Crocs. I bought these in Colorado as an emergency because the shoes I wore to walk around in died. They died right in front of the Crocs store right after I finished uttering "I will never be caught dead in Crocs." Apparently walking around barefoot in a new city is more serious than death, but I don't think these sandals are that bad at all. They're actually the most comfortable shoes I own--and I'm wearing them today because I literally tried on and rejected all of the shoes in my closet.
Now. These shorts. I actually liked them when I first saw them at Old Navy, so for $5.38, I snatched them up without hesitation. It's too bad that summer is almost over--but wearing these little cuties gives me something to look forward to for next summer.
Fins and I are running a Color Run tomorrow morning so we're headed out of town for the rest of our holiday. I hope everyone (or at least all of you in the U.S.) gets some relaxation and enjoys your Labor Day weekend!

My favorite part of this outfit....the double necklace usage. :) I always love layers of jewelry for some reason! I'm running The Color Run end of this month in PDX--maybe you can do a post about it to give me a heads up of the craziness?! :) Ha--have a blast gal and enjoy your long weekend!
Lovely ensemble.
these sandals definitely don't look like crocs at all, or at least what you first think of when you hear "crocs!" i think they're cute! did you also know that crocs makes heels & wedges? they have a few styles i would definitely wear but they are kind of expensive. good luck on your run tomorrow!!
I'm so jealous of the color run! We haven't had one around here but I want to do one so.bad. Hope you post some pictures :)
Have fun at the color run. And those shoes are fantastic. You'd never know those were crocs!

Umm. For those being Crocs sandals, I never would have guessed. I thought the only shoes they made were those awful, bright, chunky slip on ones. But these are actually really darling and I would gladly swipe them off your feet and wear them myself. And the gingham shorts are adorable as well. Perfect outfit for these late summer days!

I thought the same thing when I saw them! I was like "are they selling other brands here now??" haha!
The color run was so fun! I definitely recommend it!
Oh no! Keep your eye out for one! We really didn't get many pictures because of the rain (and all of the cornstarch floating around). We took three or four but they are totally not flattering!
Ha! I hate those clog-ish holey shoes, so I was really surprised to find these!
The run went really well! Thanks!
Thank you! It was comfortable, too!
I have been playing around with wearing another necklace with my statement necklaces--it's almost like statement necklaces are an item of clothing in themselves.
The Color Run was great! I only wish it didn't rain on us!
