This was another in-service outfit. In-service is a weird time as far as clothing goes...it's basically a lot of meetings and sitting, so you want to be comfortable. At my school, they don't really give us any guidelines about how to dress for in-service, but I still don't quite feel appropriate in jeans. As a presenter and group facilitator during in-service (I got to talk in front of the entire school and I led two small group sessions), I needed to be presentable, so I opted to dress nicely for the week.
Can I just say that I'm a BIG fan of this tank? I seriously had a dream about it after I saw it in the store. I think that once your subconscious begins demanding a tank this cute around tax-free-weekend (and said tank is on sale), you have no choice but to go back for it. Now I'm wanting the blue version of it...I'm just hoping my subconscious doesn't start nagging me about it again. I think my subconscious doesn't like paying taxes, so hopefully that extra percentage will keep my dreams tank-top-free.
Overall, there's just something about cropped pants that screams "teacher!" to me.
I'm pretty sure that every teacher owns a pair of cropped pants (if you don't, you should)...I actually own about three or four pair of these pants, but I haven't been able to squeeze into them for a while. I'm thinking it's "make-up-for-lost-time" time. You may or may not be seeing a lot of these pants until it gets too cold to wear them.
That's a fair warning, right?
