I'm linking up today with Clare from Understated Classic's White Pants Party today! (I just happened to be wearing them when I noticed she had a linky...so I thought I'd join in).
No experience with the latter part. But they do glow outside.
Maybe you'll see them after Labor Day if I feel impossibly rebellious one day. I am, however, quite the OCD rule-follower, so it will have to be some kind of apocalyptic circumstance.
Or maybe you guys will talk me into wearing a chambray shirt with the pants...
(probably the least likely scenario, but I like to keep you on your guard)
So...you tell me. Do you follow weird social conventions like refusing to wear white after Labor Day?

Love that red blazer....and it is totally ok to wear white after labor day :)
I love this whole outfit. One of my favs for sure. I hope you decided to wear these awesome pants anytime! They could even be great around Xmas! They'll match the snow!

I just got a white skirt from ann taylor as a gift and it feels so great that I can not imagine only wearing it once this year.
I do what I want! Though I don't usually do white pants because A.) I'm a giant klutz and spill stuff all the time B.) I hate myself in pants 99.9% of the time. But you look great! And I'd love to get a nice white skirt to add to my collection.
I'll probably wear my white skinny jeans this fall but the white dress pants will probably hide in the closet as soon as it starts getting cold. Maybe not Labor Day but definitely by the end of September.
A chambray shirt would be super adorable with these pants! But then again, I love the bright red blazer and striped shirt. I don't think there is anything wrong with white after labor day, I sometimes do it. But then again, I try to avoid white just because I manage to stain it no matter what I do. It's a gift.

I knew we would start chipping away at you ;) Please don't try to ever make me wear booties though, this will never happen no matter how hard someone tries.
I love that necklace with that top and blazer. It's like an understated statement necklace. ....?

oh my gosh! my best friend is gorgeous. dang woman. told you you looked awesome in white pants. told. you. so.
Beautiful---absolutely beautiful combo gal! I keep walking by white dresses and pants and oh.so.wishing I could re-purchase a pair...but I know it's not worth it since I have two mid-to-large dogs that would get them fur covered and dirty in a heartbeat--not to mention the chickens in the backyard and the cats :) Relish them while you can!
Thanks, lady! I'm definitely appreciating being dog-less and child-less at the moment. I have a feeling that a lot will change when either or both of those happen! haha!
Oh my gosh! My best friend is so sweet. Seriously love you.
Thanks, Ruby!!!!
I have to admit that the polka dot chambray tops I've seen are worth breaking down for...But I'm trying to be good on this shopping break, so it will be winter before I break down officially. ;)
I typically do the same thing, Callie! I'm so klutzy and unco-ordinated! It's a very special talent, for sure.
oooh, white skinnies. If only I had the legs for that. ;)
I love that!! I really want a white skirt, too! I've been looking for a nice fitting white pencil (that doesn't make my stomach area look like a cloud...).
I am looking for a good white skirt! Wear it often so I can see how you style it. :)
Oooh! Christmas white pants! I like it!!!!! :)
So true. Stacey and Clinton agree with you. ;)
