Or...a more literal example would be my outfit today.
Same forward. Same backward.
FRONT:

What I Wore:
Dress as top: Target - $7
Shoes: Target - $30
Necklace: Target - $20
Earrings: Target - $7
Skirt: My Easter present from my darling mother.
(SHE MADE THIS SKIRT, TOO.
She used this pattern from Pinterest to make it...she said the most time consuming part of making it was cutting it out and determining where each piece should go--but she did an amazing job of matching up the chevron pattern in the seams. I'm amazed.)
The top is actually this dress:
Everything I'm wearing in this picture is Target.
Belt - $13
Shoes - $10
Scarf: $15
Earrings: $7
I hope everyone had a Happy Easter.
He is Risen!
PS: Before anyone calls me out on it, I'm wearing this skirt again tomorrow, k? And I imagine that I'll be wearing it once a week for a while. Consider yourself warned. I love it that much.

oh my gosh, we can be chevron skirt twins. i love yours so much better than mine though, your mom did an awesome job! i really need to try my hand at that tutorial, the pleats are so perfect. happy easter whitney!
I love your skirt. I love the fact that you put it over a dress, that it is chevron print, and that your mom made it! My mother-in-law is working on restyling a thrifted dress for me right now, and I can't wait to see the results. Thanks for the inspiration!

Dossome :)
Great look! Love your hair. :) Happy Easter.
Your mom did an amazing job. I wish I knew how to sew or could con my mom into learning :) I would teach my self first. I must second MsPeachPlus, I love your hair!
I don't blame you for wearing this skirt multiple times...it's really cute!
You and your mum both happen to be genius ... and both the skirts super cute.
I love the front and the back! Mmmmmm chevron is so lovely!

It's official. Your mom needs to open up an online store so I can buy all the skirts she makes! haha
I keep telling her to do that! I'll be sure to link her up if she does! :)
I am very picky about patterns--but I'm definitely warming up to chevron!
Thanks, Ruby! My mom is an amazing woman!
I completely agree! My mom opened up the figurative Pandora's box...she will never stop making me skirts now! ha!
I really wish I knew how to sew, too! I think it's a dying skill--and it's such a shame!
Thanks so much! I rarely fix my hair...I'm way too lazy!
Thanks, sweet lady! Happy Easter to you!
I really like the pattern--great minds think alike! I don't know where mom picked the material up--I think she ordered it. I'm going to have to comb through your blog to see how you wore yours. :)
I hope you had a great Easter, Heidi!
Wow! Your mom is so talented. That's a great pattern!
not too creatively... i do need to pull it out again and wear it again. i'd like to wear it with my gray boots while we have cooler weather again, maybe friday!
