I still like Ten Things Tuesday and Awkward and Awesome Thursday. Don't fret. I haven't changed my mind on that....yet.... ;)
So, today looked a little like this:
Ever since I saw Elaine's belt tutorial, I have been wearing my belts this way.
Skirt: Wet Seal $13 (yeah, don't judge the Wet Seal.)
Yellow Cami: Aeropostale $10
Coral tank: LOFT $10
Belt: Target $13
Coral shoes: Target $20
Orange Cardigan: NY&Co $15ish (I would add this if I were to go out to dinner or to a movie--Baby it's hot outside!)
Cameo Necklace: Forever21 (?)
Eiffel Tower necklace: Forever21 (?)
(Both of those necklaces have been in my collection for quite some time!)
Pearl earrings: Gift
This outfit is definitely something I would've worn in college. I realize it's a very "hot weather" outfit--so yes, I was the overachiever who took classes in the summer. One summer, I took 22 hours. In 10 weeks. Husband (was boyfriend at the time) deserves a trophy for handling me that summer. I digress.
It's super hot outside--and it has really limited what I can wear.
Even though my closet looks like this:
...I am feeling the blogger pressure to make my outfits count...especially since these are my first impression posts, right?
I spent quite some time trying to find a good location in my house to take pictures (I don't have a tripod yet) without using husband as a photographer, but I failed. So I took a pouty picture for you to prove it. I hope that makes up for it.
I spent some of my day going through the dive certification packet/booklets and doing homework for our dive class next weekend.
It felt weird doing reading comprehension and answering questions--things I give to my students. However, I am VERY excited about diving, so I am going to do it! Yay for willpower!
I'm going to be a super awesome domestic wife and order pizza tonight. Hey, my willpower only extends so far for one day.

I only have white hangers too! (Well I also have two random bright pink hangers, but I have no idea where they came from) :)

Rhoda: I do the SAME thing (hence my most recent outfit on 7/3) ESPECIALLY when I'm working! It's so easy to make black on black/darker colors into professional dress. I am going to challenge myself to wear more color this school year.
